Bloom:  The medium sized - 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" semidouble to rose form double  form flower is red with faint white streaks on innermost petals.  It has white anthers.  The bloom consists of 65 petals and 4 petaloids.  The flowers fall in one piece, have heavy petal texture, are long lasting and are consistent in form.  "Mr. Tinkle, who originated this cultivar, was a very long term and much beloved member of the Oregon Camellia Society. He workded for many years hybridizing retics and raising seedlings as well. This cultivar, named for his wife, is one of his nicest achievements".
